She's a Potter. Yes, those Potters. Lily Luna Potter is the youngest (well, youngest biological anyway) child of Harry and Ginevra Potter. What's life like as a Potter? Well - hectic, for starters. Try having the most famous dad in the world, and a mom who literally can kick ass and takes names. Then, top it off with two older brothers: one of whom is an incredibly famous (even in his own right, even if Lily will never tell him she's proud of him) star Quidditch player and the other who is taking the Muggle ancient history world by storm (she'll tell him she's proud). Life wasn't easy for Lily Potter, far from it. With all the fame of the family came a lot of expectations, and a lot of attention.
But Lily had never been one to back away from a challenge. As a child, Lily had reminded every adult she met of her mother. "Just like Ginny at that age," they would coo at her. It hadn't mattered if she was two months or nine years; everything she did reminded all of her parents' friends of her mother when she was young. Especially when Albus had gone away for his first year at Hogwarts. That had been the first time that Ginny would be the only child in the house during the long school terms. However, two years later, when all three of the Potter children rode the crimson train to Hogwarts, Lily was determined to stake out her own path. She wasn't going to let her mother, father, or her brothers overshadow her - and anyone who "expected" anything out of her that wasn't part of her extended family? Well, they could take their expectations and shove them. This was her life. Her choices.
Lily is the friend - or sister - who will always tell the hard truths, even if it isn't what you really want to hear. She knows when to soften things, but she's quite blunt and prefers to just be upfront about everything. She has a huge heart and is completely accepting of all kinds of people; this is something that she credits to the influences of both her father and her Aunt Hermione.
